(for the Elementary and Middle School Reader)
Let me just say that, as an enthusiastic literacy advocate, I’m extremely excited that you are here! Your interest lets me know that you’re invested in the educational well-being of your child. I love that for you. And, I look forward to sharing information on this unique online reading tutoring program that’s sure to educate, entertain, and inspire your child to see reading in a most positive light.

Children should have the opportunity to learn through engaging and enjoyable reading activities that pique their interest, channel their creativity, and keep them coming back for more. Fun with reading can do all of that and then some.
So, here’s what I’d like to propose to you. I’d like for you to let me assist you in developing your child’s reading skills, making sure phonological awareness is strong and more comprehensive reading skills are exercised and strengthened. My number one goal is to make reading come alive in the lives of the children I serve, and I have an effective lineup of fun and learning in equal parts. Trust me, it’s a tried-and-true combo for reading success.
Now, here’s where I introduce you to some of the program details — some need-to-knows that will help determine if this program sounds like a great fit for your young reader.
Ready . . . set . . . here we go . . .
- Program sessions are currently open and will extend as needed for each child. Timeframes for sessions are based on the schedule availability of families.
- Each child will receive a handmade reading planner with actionable literacy items to get the reading and writing juices flowing.
- Children will have an opportunity to earn “Reading Bucks” to use toward the purchase of reading and writing resources in the Degrees of Maternity TpT Store.
- Weekly progress reports will be provided to you.
- ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED TO YOUR CHILD with the exception of a device to conduct the online sessions and Internet access for that device. (Those two items are the only ones you’ll be responsible for.)
- Each one-on-one reading session is 45 minutes, and the cost per session is $30.
- Payment options are available in weekly, biweekly, and monthly timeframes.
- Each session will contain the following segments: getting to know you time, reading coaching, skills drills, a reading enrichment activity, and goal setting and accountability.
