Whew! Weee! We’re here at day 20 — the end of the fifth week of unloading my tutoring adventures on you! And, it’s my absolute pleasure to do so. I’m having so much fun with it. More than I originally thought I would.
I’ve even been able to bring some “Lessons Learned as a Parent of a Virtually-Schooled Student” (from 5 years ago) into this current blog post series . . . and just reminisce and reflect on whether or not the same lessons apply to today as they did when I was on the parent side of online educational instruction 5 years ago.
Now, if this is your first time visiting my blog during the “Adventures in Tutoring Daily Challenge” blog post series, then you’re probably somewhat confused and need a catch-you-up-to-date blogging session or two.
But honestly, there’s really no better way for the first two paragraphs of this post to make sense to you other than to get to reading, my friend. I mean . . . the whole series — from its introduction in the following post: My Next Blogging Move . . . Daily Challenges Ahead! to Day 1’s account in Adventures in Tutoring Daily Challenge – Day 1 and then on to Days 2 – 19 in that order.
I know . . . I know . . . you’re probably saying that that’s too much reading to do and you don’t have time for it. And, I would totally agree with that statement. It is too much to read in one sitting or in one day. But, I bet if you’d break the reading down into smaller chunks, reading a few blog posts here and there over the course of several days, then you’d get through it lickety-split. No reading overload experienced!
And, I truly would appreciate your time spent visiting my little literacy nook here at Degrees of Maternity. I have plenty of written content eye candy to keep you busy for many reading sessions to come. All kinds of blogging conversations (I say conversations because I like to be chatty over here and keep it laid back and informal) reside in the archives, so feel free to stay awhile and take an extended look-see.
Now, for those wonderful friends (or can I call you family) who so graciously spend some of your time over here regularly supporting what I have going on in my literacy world, I truly THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You make blogging such a rewarding experience for me. And, it’s not all about me and my needs — not at all. In fact, my hope is that you can come away every time with some positive, encouraging, and helpful takeaways that resonate with you and bless you in some way.
I APPRECIATE YOU!
I also want you to know that I’ll be giving you a much-needed break soon. I don’t want to totally wear out my welcome with you since you’ve been so wonderful in visiting me faithfully during this series. I promise there’s a finish line coming at the end of this marathon of blogging content. November 27th to be exact.
I decided that my experiment to get myself on a routine of blogging after coming off of my extended hiatus would come in the form of this “Adventures in Tutoring Daily Challenge,” blogging every Monday through Thursday until I decided to stop. Well, I’ve decided on that stop date.
And, I think I’m going to be fine, family. I think this challenge has ignited my blogging fire again. So much so that I should be able to keep on a steady but less frequent blogging schedule to close out 2025 and strongly enter into 2026.
I’m guessing I’ll be on track to carry on a once-a-week or twice-a-week blogging schedule. I’m not exactly sure as of today, but I’ll let you know when we get closer to December 2025 — which will be here before we know it and/or are ready for it. Hee. Hee.
Anyway, I just want to say “THANK YOU!” for your support of this blogging challenge and this blog site overall. Your presence makes this content creation journey so much fun!
Here’s to weeks 6 through 9 of the “Adventures in Tutoring Daily Challenge” . . . soon to come!
