I’m all about the positive affirmations when working with the youngsters I serve. As a matter of fact, I may even go a bit overboard with the accolades. I’m wired that way. And since I know how powerful words are, it would seem that positive affirmations might just help a child along with progressing in his or her educational journey (and in life, in general).
Children need encouragement, but adults do too. And I’m not past the stage of enjoying some word upliftment to help motivate me to keep going on a constructive path as an educator. So, I scoured the internet to find some positive affirmations for educators — not the ones that we give to the kiddos — but those motivational words that make us, adults, want to be the best educator versions of ourselves for the children we serve.
I got these quotes from different sources around the Internet. So, I take absolutely NO credit for creating them myself. Here are the top 20 positive affirmations (ones that truly called out to me, personally) that I will try to get into the habit of saying to myself before starting my first tutoring session on each day I tutor.
