Consistent Work
Positive Attitude
Balance
Simplifying Things
Discipline
These are the themes I keep coming back to over and over again to help keep the momentum going for “GETTING THINGS DONE.” They are “success” themes. You can call them those simple reminders (in one or two words) that keep you grounded and focused on the essential elements in life — the overarching themes that have, are, and will bring you in alignment with reaching the personal and professional goals you desire to achieve.
These themes are proven. They work in practical application. For me, personally. And, for others who I’ve witnessed accomplish things. And if you aren’t subscribed to them yet, I want you to try them out for size. I don’t think they’ll disappoint.
In fact, I would highly anticipate that, if regularly applied in your day-to-day, these same “success” themes will help you in getting going on your goals and will help you get noticeable results on your efforts.
Now, I have to admit that others’ success stories have become a HUGE source of motivation for me lately, allowing me to awaken out of the slumps I can easily fall into from time to time. But, it’s not enough to witness the experiences of others’ successes and hope, by some form of transference of observation, that such information alone will create my own success path.
No. The secret of these individuals’ successes is wrapped up in their action — in the implementation of those “themes” that bring them the results.
Note . . .
The application of results-driven knowledge over time leads to the success story.
So, to conclude this brief visit with you today, my gut is telling me that I have more to say about my motivational themes of the year. So much more, but just not today.
Let me think about it and come back to you with some words of wisdom on how to apply:
Consistent Work
A Positive Attitude
Balance
The Act of Simplifying Things, &
Discipline
in your life to bring about the additions, omissions, and adjustments that will help propel you forward on the success path toward your goal destinations.
Oh, and if you have your own “success” or motivational themes of the year, please do share what they are and how they’ve helped you personally in achieving momentum and movement leading to results. Sharing your experiences may end up helping someone else in his or her own success pursuits.
