Now, this particular announcement is not part of the two, but I just remembered that I have a little update I’m doing to the blog site. And, I’ll be enlisting some professional help to make this all work out. This week marks the beginning of the update (kind of a spur of the moment thing — but has been in the making for some time). I’ll fill you in once the update is fully completed.
But I mentioned the above, because this last minute, unscheduled maintenance will force me to make this week of blogging a one-time only occurrence. So, today’s blog post is it for the week. And, the hope is to be back next Tuesday with some more therapeutic writing discussions.
Plus, I’ve got a whole lot of writing therapy tracking going on . . . more about that directly below.
Announcement Number One
Today starts my personal Moods-Behaviors Tracking Challenge. Oh, and if you missed the briefing on this challenge, you can check it out in last week’s blog post, entitled The Moods-Behaviors Tracking Challenge: A Writing Therapy Exercise. (I even provide you with a nifty little tracker to use for the challenge, if you’d be so inclined as to participate yourself.)
And if you are participating, by no means do YOU need to start the challenge today. I just happened to mention that I would be starting my full weekday week of tracking (starting yesterday) with no set timeframe for completion of the challenge. I imagine that I’ll do this tracking exercise for several consecutive weeks (at least through the month of May), but we’ll see. I guess, in my mind, the tracking will be my way of doing some consistent journaling I haven’t managed to establish regularly within my routine just yet.
So, it’ll be good for me. Plus, there’s a whole purpose (behind it) that will bring about some identification of behavioral habits that I’ve taken on; and will, hopefully, bring clarity to why those behaviors are manifesting themselves (for the good and for the bad).
And you’re welcomed to join me (or not) on this little writing therapy quest, if you so choose. No pressure at all. I just think it’s always more inviting to go on a discovery challenge with others (even if the challenge falls in the category of an over-the-online experience). For me, personally, just the idea that others are participating in the same activity I am, while I am, (even though I can’t see them while they’re doing it), can get me going on a challenge. I guess it’s a psychological thing and the belief that others will do what they say they’ll do, based on the old honor system. That . . . right there . . . works good enough for me.
So, join in the discovery fun (this week) if it helps you to have someone who’s also going through the journey as well. And actually, you can start this challenge anytime you’d like to — just try to begin it on a Monday and give it a full Monday through Friday opportunity to provide you with some useable tracking feedback for your moods-behaviors patterns.
Announcement Number Two
THIS ONE’S A BIGGIE! Now, I just made this announcement with my email-subscribing family this past weekend, but I wanted to catch up my family here at the blogosphere, as well. I’ll never leave you all hanging. I promise. You’ve been incredibly wonderful to Degrees of Maternity (me), so I’ll always keep you in the know on any of the good stuff coming down the pike.
And some of the family over there are family over here, as well. So, for those folks, I apologize that you’re getting the message twice, but I have to get ALL the family in the loop on this one. Because, like I just stated, “THIS ONE’S A BIGGIE!”
However, I’m not going to restate word-for-word what I presented to the family, hanging out at my email newsletter. If you’d like to get all the facts and the same briefing they did, then I need for you to link up with my email-subscribing family, and you’ll get the same introductory message they received as an audio newsletter.
You can join the other family hangout by clicking on the button below (if you haven’t already):
And you’ll DEFINITELY want to sign up for my email list, because I’ll be dribbling out more details on the membership that I’m starting up for married women (sorry guys) who desire to improve their communication with their husbands (you’re welcome guys). It’s all about healthy communication in marriage relationships in this membership and only a “healing the marriage relationship through healthy communication” environment/culture will be allowed to function within it.
Oh, and believe me when I say this:
WRITING THERAPY will be a huge component of this positive, encouraging, inspirational, and motivational journey that this sisterhood will be embarking upon — together. And, I will be there every step of the way enjoying the community alongside everyone else.
And, guess what?
You’ve been able to witness a little taste of the writing therapy framework that will be used somewhat but tweaked specifically to meet the needs of the membership. However, the framework is simply a framework — the skeletal structure that encloses all the stuff that’s inside of it. And well, the meaty stuff is what life-improvement habits are made of. We’ll figure out all the meaty stuff together throughout this membership journey.
I know . . . I know . . . the analogies and metaphors.
But, if your mouth is watering a little, and you’re figuratively tasting that juicy meat — again, you’ll want to get all the details of this worthwhile venture that’s about to be a blessing for those lives it’s meant to touch. It’ll satisfy that hunger. I guarantee. Click on the button below to become a part of my email-subscribing family to receive your monthly newsletter every 4th Sunday of the month and, to more importantly, check out my audio message about the “why” behind the membership.
