A well-known author stated that the job of a writer is to inspire, educate, and/or entertain. Hearing this statement prompted me to think about how writing, in turn, has affected my life for the better. And, I’ve decided to take each of the action words in bold (above) and create an acrostic for all three that describes what writing does for me. Each acrostic will be featured in a separate blog post and placed under the category, “DOM Writer’s Block: A Writer’s Journey”, for safe-keeping. Today’s post will highlight the word “INSPIRE”. Writing definitely inspires me and it also:
I – interests me
N – never gets old
S – starts my day off on a good note
P – provides a creative outlet for me to express myself
I – increases my opportunities to reach people with positive messages
R – reminds me to put “heart” into what I do
E – energizes me
Strive to inspire and be inspired.
