One of the residual effects of going through the 30-day challenge that I recently completed is the overall feeling of accomplishment… of getting things done. So for that very reason, I wholeheartedly believe that the challenge was a worthwhile experience; and I’m fairly certain that I will be participating in more of them in the future. The experience has taught me several lessons: one of which is to make a priorities list of goals that I really want to tackle in 2019. Simply stated, I’ll call them “My 2019 Goals“. And, here they are.
- to eat and drink healthier
- to get enough sleep
- to be physically active
- to de-stress with relaxation techniques that increase mental and physical health
- to cultivate family and friend relationships
- to indulge in positive recreational activities that I enjoy
- to learn something new that both interests and challenges me
- to utilize the assistance of reliable and encouraging support mechanisms
- to utilize organizational tools to help manage the daily workload
- to develop a back-to-nature or natural alternatives perspective when considering health and household needs.
I think the above list of to-dos gives me plenty to work on over the next 11 months. And don’t worry, I’ll be bringing you along for the ride as I begin to push the peddle to the metal.
In conclusion, this has to be one of the shortest blog posts that you’ve read from me. But wait a minute, what I lack in today’s written word will be made up by a visual and audio take over from Degrees of Maternity in videoland. Click below and see where else I featured “My 2019 Goals”.
