A Blogging Pivot Coming On . . .

Let me just say that I feel a blogging pivot coming on. I know . . . I know . . .  Bet you’re saying, now what? Well, I don’t have any specifics for you just yet, but I’ll let you know this much. There’s a change a-comin’. Yes, I’m planning on a blogging pivot coming to a Degrees of Maternity blog site near you.

Now, I can’t say much now, because I’m in the planning mode. Just wanted to give you a heads-up that I have something very different planned for upcoming content. And don’t get me wrong. I realize that it’s no new news that, every once in a while, I make some changes. But, I’m thinking that THIS CHANGE is gonna be a biggie.

I’ve been putting it off and trying to calm it down in the recesses of my mind, but the change just has to be done. It’s inevitable at this point. And since I’m all about “simplifying things” these days, it only makes sense to do it.

I know I’m being all mysterious, but it’s really because I don’t have enough concrete info to put out there about THE CHANGE. The one thing I can say is that there’s no use in wasting time spending time frivolously.

I mean . . . I don’t want to spend my time doing things that aren’t serving those who I aspire to motivate to make life improvements. And, I certainly don’t want to spend time doing things that aren’t self-fulfilling to me, personally.

So, I’ll be changing things up a bit. Pivoting with my blog site. At some point in time. Yet to be determined.

But, I’ll keep you updated on any breaking news as it develops. You’ll hear it here first. (Wow, I sound like a news anchor right now. Hee. Hee.)

Seriously though, I’ll keep you posted on any major and/or minor changes to the blog site before they actually happen.

Just so you know, I’m EXCITED about the impending changes, because those changes will put all of the focuses that I most love in alignment with one another.

And while I’m excited about THE PIVOT, you may not be. It’s okay, though. I totally understand and respect that. But ultimately, my hope is that you hang in there with me during the pivot and beyond.

Whew! That felt good to get out.

Mainly because the idea or thought is no longer just in my head. It’s out in the blogosphere now. I like that. No turning back. I’ll actually have to do something with what I’ve just communicated.

Sharing things on this blog site has been one strategy I’ve used to create momentum for myself when it comes to getting after the goals I’ve been seeking to achieve. And this pivot is no different than the other items I’ve wanted you to keep me accountable for.

So, I owe you a pivot, or you can call me out on it (if you don’t see any pivot action comin’ on). But hey, give me some time to get ‘er goin’, okay? I’m just in the planning phase of THE CHANGE.
